Personal protection dogs must react to the change as the aggressors attack changes.

Even as the aggressor attempts to escape, the fight is not over until the owner has time to remove himself from the area. Maintaining contact with the aggressor is important.

Protection dogs must be taught to expect re-attacks from the aggressor who is determined to cause harm to the owner or family members.
