Our
German Shepherd Purchase Policy
It is our intention to produce the most stable healthy German Shepherd Dogs possible. When it comes to breeding there are always many variables to consider. With this in mind we will not accept any deposits for litters until we know for sure that the bitch is pregnant. We will post all breedings on our web page.
Steps
to Purchasing a German Shepherd Puppy
- Contact us with your intentions and let us know what you are looking for. Do you want an imported dog, an adult dog, or do you want a dog from one our litters? Are you looking for a male or female? Contact us either by email or phone.
- We need to know what you intend to do with your dog. Are you going to use the dog for sport, protection, police work, detection, or for SAR? This will enable us to make the right selection for you. We use a selection testing procedure that is tried and proven to be accurate and trustworthy. This will ensure the right selection for your particular needs.
- When you decide on a puppy, we will need 50% of the purchase price to hold him for you, and will need the remainder before shipping the pup. This does not include the price of a crate and shipping costs. We can normally ship a pup in the U.S. for around $400.00. Our pups will be ready to ship when they are eight weeks old.
- You will need to pay with a cashier’s check, money order, direct wire transfer, or bank draft. We will not accept personal checks for the purchase of our dogs. Currently we cannot accept credit cards for any purchases.
- Approximately 10 days before shipment we will need a phone number where we can reach you to confirm shipping instructions and date to insure a smooth arrival for your new dog.
- There will be a charge of $125.00 for any cancellation of orders for pups. The reason for this is that it is very important to place all pups at 8 weeks of age to insure that proper socialization occurs in any given family.
- All records and registrations will come later through the mail.
Steps to Purchasing an Imported Adult German Shepherd Dog
- Much of the selection process remains the same whether puppy or adult. We will ask similar questions.
- When you have made the selection of an adult dog, we will need at least 75% of the purchase price to hold him for you. We will need the remainder of the purchase price within 30 days. Shipping to my kennel usually takes about 10 days.
- We normally put 60 days of training on our import dogs to get them to Level One Personal Protection dog.
- Upon completion of the dogs training we will contact you to make the arrangement for shipping. All shipping, crate, health certificate, and expenses will be the buyers responsibility.
- The dog’s pedigree and paper work from Europe may take up to 6 months to receive.
