
Level I Protection Dogs are from 18 to 36 months of age.
This is the entry level for Personal Protection Dogs that work well in a family situation. Adults in the family, with some training and guidance, can handle this level of dog.
In summary, for Level I Personal Protection Dogs:
- All Level I Dogs meet the “5 Critical Concepts” that define a Personal Protection Dog
- All Level I Dogs do 10 “Scenario Based Training Exercises” for a home invasion as well as Scenarios for the other “5 Critical Concepts”
- Level I Dogs do not work as well on farms or homes that have multiple pets
- Level I Dogs are limited on their search capability to smaller property lots with homes from 1500 to 2000 square feet
- Level I Personal Protection Dogs are our entry level Dog
