security, and the business professional. We also sell started
dogs for search and rescue, and schutzhund.
The german shepherd puppies we produce

Personal Protection Dogs are not vicious dogs. Protection dogs are very social animals and
great life companions. Fully trained personal protection dogs fit well in the home. Their
presence alone can deter the criminal element, making your home life more relaxed and
enjoyable.

Many times I am asked if our personal protection dogs are good around young children
and other pets. I can say without hesitation YES. The personal protection dogs I sell
fit very well in a home with young children and other pets. Personal protection dogs
are raised in a family environment in Europe with all these factors in place.
All of the personal protection dogs that I have sold have gone to families that
have young children, other pets, or to a farming environment with horses and
other livestock.
A
German Shepherd search and rescue dog is a fun recreational dog to work. They can be a real service to the community. See what some of our SAR dogs have done in our community. Our German Shepherds are bred to work.
Schutzhund protection dogs are very specialized and highly trained dogs for sport.
They make great companion dogs. Only German Shepherds with calm nerves and
the correct temperament can participate in the sport.
Our
protection dogs, SAR dogs, Schutzhund dogs come from the top producing blood lines in
Belgium, the Czech Republic, The Republic of Slovakia, East & West Germany. Vom
Fieldcrest German Shepherds are bred for the most intense drives and
stable nerves which are only found in European blood lines. Depending on your needs and personality we might have just the right german shepherd puppy or adult SAR dog for you. Here are some examples of the dogs we have sold to date.

From my very first contact with Tom Brown I knew I was dealing with someone who was very knowledgeable in the field of personal protection dogs and working dogs. He is a total professional and an honest man. After locating Vom Fieldcrest Shepherds, talking with and then meeting Tom in person, the decision to buy a pup from his litter was an easy one.
I have only had this female pup from Tom for a week and I am very impressed with what I have seen so far. She is a confident and stable dog with great nerves, which has to be in place to be a great personal protection dog. Her socialization training so far is outstanding. She takes to new people well, both children and adults, showing no reserve. She has started to negotiate stairs and has been on several surfaces. She is in a collar now and has been introduced to a leash with no troubles.
And talk about drive. She has shown great hunt and prey drive. This pup is very mouthy and has quite a hard bite, which is a good sign for a personal protection dog. She works a tug and will stay on the bite. She plays with a tennis ball, Kong, rolled scent towels and anything else she can get her mouth on. She is already retrieving these articles and will carry them in her mouth without dropping and loosing interest. These traits are absolutely necessary in order to develop the character needed to train a personal protection dog. She is doing all this at nine weeks. She is a definite candidate for scent detection, and protection work.
As a trainer of police service dogs I know some things just can't be put into a dog. It has to come from genetics in order to develop a full-blown personal protection dog or detection dog.
Thank you Tom for this outstanding puppy. She has a great working career ahead of her.
