Zeus is a very dark bi-colored male with great pigment in his coat. Zeus has all the drives that are represented in his fine blood-line. Zeus’s dad Alf aus der Eichendorfsiedlung is a Sch3 (L.G.A) He is producing some of the finest dogs you will see today. Alf’s dad is Dino vom Sylbacher wald Sch3 (BSP) which means he was a Bundesseiger competitor. Dino’s father was the great Asko v. Lutter who is a world champion in Sch. Zeus’s mom is Jabina Cora Sch2 and she is a Pike vom Schafbachmuhle Sch3 (BPS) over Xento Maineiche Sch3 (BPS). This is one of the finest working dog lines I have seen. Zeus is a very tough dog who will hit the sleeve with a very hard full mouth grip. He is a civil dog that will take a man to the ground when the sleeve is dropped. He really likes a good fight. Zeus is a very happy, social dog that is friendly and well mannered. He was raised with children and is not handler aggressive. This dog is what you should be looking for in any breeding program. He has great nerves and calm temperament with plenty of prey, hunt and fight drive. He is going to be a great addition to VFS breeding program. His bloodline and attributes complement the breeding to Mink grand daughters.

Pacer, you were a magnificent, gallant dog who was always there to work. You were a great partner and friend. You served your community in SAR. You helped out in Oklahoma after the largest tornado ever recorded. You brought joy to the people in Welland, Ontario and were an ambassador of good will between our two countries.

I was proud to be your partner and will miss you. You were more of a search dog than I was a handler. Hope to see you again old friend...Tom.

Pacer’s father is Orfey Vom Haus Antverpa who was imported from Belgium. Orfey’s mother was Iwa Karthargo and father was Gento Vom Haus Larwin. Gento is said to be a hip improver. Pacer’s mother is Faith Vom Leerburg. She is an intense bitch who never stops. Her mother is Afra Von Der Drachensteinburg (WGR) and father is Odi Vom Blitsaerd (NET). Afra’s father was Sagus Vom Busecker Schloss. The pedigree is from well established lines in Europe.

Pacer is a very large boned impressive sable GSD with large East German head. His features are well defined and are not found in the American GSD today. It is very obvious how distinct the European bred GSD are from their counter-parts in America.

Pacer is a very stable, well-balanced dog who is calm under stress. He handles situations very well and is a thinking dog. He is also a very hard dog who will not take an unnecessary correction without letting you know about it. He has intense prey-drive that keeps going and will not quit. If you bring a ball or a kong out to play you better get rid of it. He will take you to the ground to get his toy. He would rather work than eat.

Pacer and I are certified as a SAR Tech. II team in wilderness search through NASAR, (National Association of Search and Rescue). It takes a very stable dog that can think and work out problems to do search work which is all off leash. Pacer is also trained in land and water cadaver. Pacer and I were used in the DeBruce grain elevator explosion and the Oklahoma City Tornado which were two very extreme situations with many unknowns. We were deployed to locate victims in both of these unfortunate incidences. Pacer has a work ethic that is outstanding, and he will not quit until he finds what he is looking for. We have been on searches that last for more than 8 hours and he keeps going strong. Pacer is a very versatile hard working detection dog who could have been trained in any number of different tasks. Pacer has what it takes to be a dual purpose police service dog.
